ALBERT MEINTJES:
Inspired to write and perform his own compositions, the talented singer / songwriter Albert Meintjes made his introduction to South African stages in 1996.
Along with his love of folk and acoustic music from around the world, Albert’s strongest source of lyrical inspiration is drawn from the events of daily life, and the emotions it evokes in us. His stories of love, adventure and the all-too-often invisible scenery that constantly surround us promise to take his audience on an inspiring and captivating journey.

Albert has released two albums with Scicoustic, and one album as Algrecko, with Greg Georgiandes. His long-awaited debut solo album, “The Very Silence of Waiting in this Place”, was successfully released in April 2017. His latest single, “Freedom” won him two Global Music Rewards in 2020.
TANJA STORM:
Tanja Storm is productive, enthusiastic, creative and talented, is a versatile and capable singer, instrumentalist and music director. She released her debut album in 2009 and only recently returned to the studio, after years of successful projects with various cover bands and theater work. Many of her singles have reached number 1 on our local SA music charts and her music videos are broadcast on KykNet. In 2019 she released her new album, “Ek is Oppad”, with her popular hit song “Hi Hi” an ode to Mossel Bay. Early in 2020, when the Covid-19 outbreak was declared a pandemic and closed South Africa, Tanja, like many other artists, had to cancel festivals, tours and other performances. However, she did not back down and worked remotely with other artists to hold online performances and release new songs. On top of that, she released 3 brand new original singles during the closing season and even edited and recorded a theme song for a documentary.
