Situated on the N2 right next to the Barnyard Theatre in Mossel Bay is the Barnyard Theatre Guesthouse. This historic thatched house was built in 1828 and is one of the oldest manors in the greater Mossel Bay area. It is beautifully restored and furnished with upmarket furniture and décor. Nestled in a well established picturesque garden it makes for a perfect getaway or stopover. With its lush gardens and abundance of birdlife it is a popular destination – even amongst local residents

The house still has its original yellow wood floors and a huge open fireplace in the kitchen alongside the original clay bread oven. It has a beautiful swimming pool set in a tropical garden. It also boasts mod-cons like 42” LCD TV and Sony Playstation. It also has a large resident library of popular DVD’s.

The Barnyard Theatre Guesthouse has sheltered and accommodated most of South Africa’s top musicians and artists. The walls of the guesthouse are adorned by autographed memorabilia of past shows held at the Barnyard Theatre Mossel Bay
The guesthouse is normally self-catering but if requested meals will be provided. The guesthouse is fully serviced and accommodates between 10 and 14 guests.

We are ten minutes from most of the popular Mossel Bay attractions and beaches. The guesthouse is situated on a farm and offer walking trails, mountain bike trails and wine tasting.

The Barnyard Theatre Guesthouse is extremely popular amongst theatre attendees wishing to overnight after a show or guests of wedding functions hosted at the Barnyard Theatre
