Nurture Something Beautiful – Own a Bonsai Tree

We are excited to explore the world of bonsai landscapes. Unlike traditional bonsai trees, often standalone art pieces, bonsai landscapes incorporate an entire miniature ecosystem into a harmonious display. Our goal is to recreate natural settings on a small scale to evoke specific moods or scenes, such as a miniature forest, a small mountain range, or the expansive beauty of Africa with its rocky outcrops.
This year at ABF 8, our theme is the African landscape. This theme highlights Africa’s openness and spaciousness, where trees stand in isolation—emphasizing the concept that less is more. We look forward to gaining insights into the art of bonsai landscapes and connecting with fellow enthusiasts.
