Between Buffalo Bay and Sedgefield, in the Goukamma Nature Reserve, lies a beautiful stretch of unspoiled beach with a fishing spot. A popular spot for the shore angler with species of fish such as Blacktail, Steenbras and even Shark. As this is a Nature Reserve, no bait or Oyster collection is allowed.
You can get there from the N2 just outside of Sedgefield (Knysna side). Take the Groenvlei or Lake Pleasant turnoff. Continue on the gravel road to the parking area at the beach, about 3.3km from the N2.
