Outeniqua family market :We are open every Saturday from 8am until 2pm. With more than 150 food and craft stalls, we can guarantee you that there is something for everyone! We also offer live entertainment, lots of undercover seating, excellent ablution facilities and tons of secure parking. And for the kids, there’s a Boere train ride, pedal cars, ponycycle rides, face painting, bunnies, sand-art and a massive play park!

Our History:

outeniqua family marketAfter a journey of two-and-a-half years, and significant investment from local business people, the vision is now a reality. The Outeniqua Family Market opened to the public on Saturday 19 November 2011.

The five-hectare site lies opposite the Garden Route Mall at the George junction on the N2. Visitors to the Outeniqua Family Market will find more than 150 food and craft stalls spread across a total trading area of 1 260m².outeniqua family market

The ancient name Outeniqua means ‘the land where honey comes from’.
