Bekend as die aanbieder van OppieStoep\, klim hy op Donderdag\, 5 Desember 2024 om 20:00 in sy Skotse persona en tradisionele “kilt” op die verhoog by The Stage Coach by Santos Express. Hy neem die gehoor saam met hom op sy reis vanaf Skotland\, deur verskeie lande\, tot waar hy hom tans in Suid-Afrika bevind.\nHy beeld sy reis uit met die kombinasie van musiek en komiese verhale. Die musiek sluit in sy eie komposisies\, bekende en geliefde Skotse liede soos “Flower ofScotland” en “Loch Lomond” asook verwerkte liedjies soos “Loslappie”\,gesing uit die mond van ‘n Skot.\nHy verras die gehoor ook met skreeusnaakse stories (uit volksbesit en eie ervarings)\, improvisasie van bekende Suid-Afrikaanse karakters (Tolla van der Merwe\, Nico Nel\, Arno van Zyl\, ens) (soos gesien op Kyknet se OppieStoep) en ook liedjies wat hy op die ingewing van die oomblik net daar voor die gehoor se oë komponeer en toonset\, met gebruik van die gehoor se voorstelle en woorde. ’n Tipe ode aan die gehoor.\nDie manier waarop Pietman op sy voete dink en die gehoor oorrompel met sy spitsvondighede maak hom eie in sy soort.
