Albert Frost
Albert Frost started playing the guitar in 1990, when he was only 13. He was voted as Best Blues guitarist in South Africa by Stage Magazine. This fact, however, shouldn't let you underestimate the man’s serious Rock abilities.
Releasing his first solo album titled Catfish in 2002 created a new spectrum as he performs original songs and Frost-versions of the classics from Jimi Hendrix, John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters to name a few. Albert is a mood-man who can performintimate solo shows and an electrifying fusion of blues and rock and roll funk.
If South Africa has such a thing as rock royalty, it's Albert Frost.
Albert is an all-round master guitarist with a passion for music that reflects happiness over any audience and for lovers of all genres – he effects success into the albums of many artists and is loved by crowds all over the world.

After establishing a career as pianist, musical director and arranger Rocco de Villiers started a solo career with the release of his first album screen test in 1997. He is also a producer and has started a production company "roccoroccomusic". Although classically trained Rocco prefers to work in the light jazz genre with a cross over to pop ballads. His heroes include Shirley Horn, Diane Krall and Dave Grusin.
Rocco can be seen performing LIVE at Down to Earth in Herold's Bay on Friday 3 May.
Show starts at 20h00 and promises to be one for the books!!
Cash Bar and Meal Platters will be available.
