Sedgefield - Beach

Cola Beach

Cola Beach is situated east of Myoli Beach. The beach can be accessed from the Myoli Whale Watching platform which is hike of 1.5 km. It can also be accessed via a public staircase just of Dover Drive. It is popular for its wind erosion of its dunes. It's not a safe beach to go for a swim, but is animal friendly and perfect for a beach walk.

Myoli Beach

Myoli Beach borders Sedgefield's estuary on the east and is very popular for whale and dolphin watching (Whale watching deck on top of dune). Parking area at the hotel (Cabanas) with toilets and showers. Not safe for swimming, but excellent for long beach walks and is animal friendly.

Buffalo Bay Beach

Buffalo Bay Beach is about half way between Knysna & Sedgefield. Offers unspoiled seaside scenery, safe swimming and superb surfing conditions. Dolphins are frequently spotted and Southern Right whales visit this section of the Cape coast annually between May & November. Here you'll see some of the highest vegetated sand dunes in the world.
This is a stunning beach in a small bay. Safe for swimming and there are life gaurds in season. Very popular for fishing off the rocks,surfing, paddle skiing, kite surfing and has a jetty.

Swartvlei Beach

Swartvlei Beach is situated 5km from Sedgefield off the N2. Very nice parking area, showers, toilets, walkway to the beach and a stunning walk to Gericke's Point. Life guards in season (school holidays).
