C-Thru Bars in George supplies completely transparent and see-through bars for burglar proofing or balustrades. This product is manufactured from Polycarbonate, one of the strongest thermoplastics available in the world. The material is virtually unbreakable, making it extremely safe when it may be exposed to impact. The material is used for riot shields used in law enforcement, visors for helmets, airplane windows, etc. It is impossible to break the bars with stones, bricks or a hammer. The material has a tensile breaking strength of more than 3000 kg’s and is virtually indestructible.
The Bars are 15 to 28mm wide and 5mm to 8mm thick and are mounted to the frames of either Aluminium, Steel or Wooden windows. Each installation is tailored to individual requirements and the mountings used are the strongest available to the market place.
