The Malachite Kingfisher hide is situated on the northern shore of Langvlei (lake) and is accessible via a sturdy boardwalk. A great variety of water birds can be viewed here. Parking for several at entrance.

Rondevlei Bird Hide Wilderness

Rondevlei Bird Hide is a rectangular wooden hide with windows on three sides and situated in reed-beds. This is one of several bird hides in the lakes area. Highlights: Seasonal roosting of African Spoonbills, Southern Pochard, Hottentot Teal, Pied and Malachite Kingfisher.
