Our conference facility is the perfect venue for your wedding, conference or year end function needs. We are renowned for good food in George and also have a fully licensed bar.

The venue is surrounded by indigenous fynbos and a beautiful sea view where whales and dolphins can be seen. We can accommodate up to 130 guests for wedding and other functions and between 20 and 50 delegates for conferences depending on what special needs you require.

Karoowater Wedding, Conference & function venue

Thank you for considering Karoowater Guest Farm, between Oudtshoorn and Calitzdorp, to host your function! Our Function venue is perfect for Weddings, Year-ends, 21st Birthdays & Kids Parties.

Venue Capacity, Catering and Equipment
With a capacity of a 100 guests (sit down meal) it is the ideal venue to host your event. The rustic atmosphere surrounded with the unique klein karoo landscapes offer a pleasant platform for any type of event whether a wedding, a birthday party, a year end or a corporate function. Should you need catering services, we offer a complete catering service. We do not rent our catering facility to third party caterers.

There is ample parking and in addition the Guest Farm offers various accommodation options including a honeymoon suite. Choose between self catering or full catering accommodation. Although equipped with a sound system our venue is not rented with the sound- & multi-media equipment, clients must arrange for their own DJ and sound equipment.

Drinks and Wine
The fully licensed bar offers alcoholic beverages at a reasonable rate. We do not offer wine at our venue. Should a client require wine at their function, it should be sourced and delivered to our premises by the client and a corkage fee will be charged.

‘Capture’
Make the best of the photo opportunities we have to offer on your big day!

Whatever the ‘look’ you want make arrangement before your big day to scout the Guest Farm for great photo opportunities. You can go ‘wild life’, unique and ‘shabby chic’, ‘countryside and serene’ and lastly you can also go for a ‘farm’-look.

Conferencing Venue Sedgefield

Situated in The Garden Route, Pine Lake Marina offers a conference venue with some spectacular views, which shows off some of the best the area has to offer.
The conferencing venue can accommodate 200 people (or slightly more depending on layout) and we can provide for all your food and beverage needs via our excellent on-site restaurant - Pinella Restaurant. The venue boasts an open fire place, should you wish to host a ‘winter conference’ as well as a cocktail/coffee bar.
There is also of course accommodation available, which means that the attendees do not need to drive long-distance straight afterwards.

The venue offers all the professional amenities for all your audio-visual requirements including, excellent sounds system, big screen with projector, microphones, video camera, internet access and DSTV – everything you would need to host a successful event. Pine Lake Marina is situated close to George Airport and a shuttle service for guests can be arranged.

Why not be in the forefront of staff care by offering 'Family Conferences'? – Stay with us here...instead of reimbursing transport fare, why not upgrade your staff member's chalet size and allow him to bring along his family. This way his family can enjoy the abundance of activities on offer and the staff member can fully relax with their family, after the days work at the conference (it may even save your company a few bucks – do we see a win-win situation here?).

The Chapel and Old School will give any wedding or function the ultimate feel of olden days gone by. As the Chapel was once the Goukamma Post Office and the Old School was the Goukamma School, lovingly restored, it lends itself to an atmosphere of past tranquility with country feel. All furniture and décor are antiques of the Garden Route area in keeping with the sense of history and tradition of the Chapel and Old School.
